Barbara Louise Lockwood Robinson

Barbara Louise Lockwood Robinson, 83, of Gladewater, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, in Gladewater. Graveside services will take place 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Gladewater Memorial Park with Reverend Mike Midkiff officiating.

Barbara was born October 18, 1937 in Longview to the late William Oscar Stevenson, Sr. and Susan Frances Simms Stevenson. She worked as a manager for Dollar Stores and more recently as a cook for The Gregg Home for the Aged. In her younger years she enjoyed dancing, bowling and riding motorcycles. Barbara now enjoyed playing cards, fishing, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. She will not soon be forgotten by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.

Barbara is survived by her husband Walter Joe Robinson of Gladewater; daughter –in-law Reina Lynn Wilcoxen Lockwood; daughter Kathy Lockwood Sargent and husband Terry Glen, Sr.; son William Todd Lockwood and wife Debra; two sisters Juanita Laverne Hopkins and husband Leroy and Leveda Mae Blalock; five grandchildren Christopher Eugene Lockwood and wife Mandy, Joshua Dee Hook, Natalie Jewel Hardy and husband Lance, William Chad Lockwood and wife Joy and Harold Chance Lockwood; thirteen great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents William Oscar Stevenson, Sr. and Susan Frances Simms Stevenson; son Harold Eugene Lockwood and four brothers William Oscar “Son” Stevenson, Jr., David Dean Stevenson, James Franklin “Jimmy” Stevenson and Chesley Jerry “C.J.” Stevenson, Sr.
