Barbara Joyce Joiner Inman

Gladewater -- Memorial services for Barbara Joyce Joiner Inman, 75, of Winona, will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 4 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Leisha Joiner officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Born on March 6, 1937, in Girard, West Texas, to Boone and Alva Lassiter Joiner, she died on Sunday, September 2, 2012. She was a retired secretary in the oil field and always active in a local church congregation. She was a wonderful wife, mother, nanny, and grand-nanny. She especially enjoyed Nature--working in her garden, planting gorgeous flowers, and finding a good fishing hole. She, in addition, enjoyed grooming the members of her family, never neglecting to tell them exactly how it is. She loved her friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. She found much delight in all of those individuals she touched shoulders with along the way. She is survived by her husband, Bill Inman of Winona; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda McCommas Schmidt and Larry Schmidt of Winona; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, John Joiner of Lubbock; and her 2 precious babies, Little Bit and Twister. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Gaylene Suiter; and son, Donald Johnson. No visitation is scheduled.
