Graveside services for Barbara Ann Walker, 73, of Gladewater, will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. at Gladewater Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Tim Watson officiating. Barbara passed on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home, Gladewater, Texas.
Barbara was born on November 24, 1940 in Gladewater, Texas, to Wesley and Margaret Ray. She was a Baptist and was the owner of Stereo and Video Center.
She was married to Kenneth Paul Gunnell in August of 2003 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. She is preceded in death by her parents: Wesley Ray Sr. and Margaret Custer Ray.
Surviving Barbara is her husband Ken Gunnell of Longview, Texas; sons and daughters in law: Mike and Susan Stroud of Longview, Texas, Mitch and Cheryl Stroud of Brentwood California. Her brother Wesley Ray Jr. and wife Jackie of Gladewater, Texas and sister Gloria Colvin and husband David of Gladewater, Texas. Also surviving Barbara Ann are her three grandchildren: Taylor Stroud, Melissa Stroud and Danielle Stroud.Visitation will be Friday evening April 18, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas.
