Arthur Vance 'Trae' Richey III

Services for Arthur Vance "Trae" Richey, III, of Winona, Texas, will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at 2 P.M. at the Cross Brand Cowboy Church, 11915 FM 2015, Tyler, Texas, with Darrell Johnson officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Born on January 12, 1981, in Mobile, Alabama, he died on Sunday, July 7, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a 1999 graduate of Bishop High School and on March 23, 2002, he married Shaylon Sanford. He was presently employed at George P. Bain as a heavy equipment technician. He was blessed with two sets of parents--Jackie and John Browning of San Antonio, Texas; Arthur Vance Jr. and Sherry Richey of Bishop, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Shaylon Richey of Winona; 2 daughters, Makayla Richey and Chloe Richey, both of Winona; 2 brothers and sister-in-law, Kyle Richey of College Station, Texas, and Monty and Krista Browning of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Jennifer and Brian Knight of Kingsville, Texas, and Micah and Frank Craddock of Bastrop, Texas; maternal grandparents, Eva and Richard Raybon of Mobile, Alabama; Doug and Robbie Bethea of Eight Mile, Alabama; paternal grandparents, Carol Richey of Arroyo City, Texas; Carolyn Taylor of Bishop, Texas; and aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arthur Vance Richey, Sr.; his brother, Joshua Wade Richey. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
