Arthur Herschel Johnson

Arthur Herschel Johnson (April 21, 1951 – January 22, 2025) was born to James Chester and

Annie Druscilla Johnson in Chickamauga, Georgia. Arthur is survived by his 3 sisters and 2

brothers – Martha McDaniel of Pasadena, TX, Sue Locke of Clute, TX and Kathern Limmer and

husband Johnny Limmer of Terrell, TX and Bill Johnson of Alvin, TX and Danny Johnson and

wife, Sandra Johnson of Channelview, TX and many nieces and nephews. Arthur loved his

family very much. The family moved to Pasadena in the 1950s and Arthur grew up and lived in

the family home until 2023. The neighborhood and Earl Street knew him from years of riding

his bike as far as it would take him. 

Arthur was a part of another community where he was known as Kingfish. He was an avid

home-based CB user and Kingfish was his call sign. He spent many years of his life over the

radio waves building life-long friends in the CB community.

Arthur was a faithful church member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. He attended

church services, activities and functions, and was embraced and loved by the congregation.
