Graveside services for Mrs. Anna White, 87, of Pasadena formerly of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A. M. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Hopewell Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas with Reverend Marion Palmer officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 14, from 5:00 P. M until 7:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. White was born on August 17, 1925 in Big Sandy, Texas to Charles Buford Askew and Bertha Stegall Askew. She passed away in Houston on December 12, 2012. Mrs. White was a Graphic Artist for Houston Instrument before her retirement. She was a member of the Gilmer First Baptist Church, Piecemakers Quilting group and the Pritchett Quilters Mrs. White is survived by a son, Charles E. White, Jr. and wife, Laura of Pasadena; daughter, Charlene Terrell and husband, Larry of Round Rock; two grandchildren, Shawn Terrell, Charles E. White III and wife, Laurie-Leigh; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward White on July 26, 2008.
