Angelena Jean Howard

Angelena Jean Howard, 19, of Big Sandy, passed away on June 22, 2023, in Tyler.  Miss Angelena was born on March 24, 2004 in Longview to Michael Coover and Natasha Davenport Coover.

Angelena loved music and singing. She was always smiling and had an outgoing personality. Free spirit was a perfect way to describe her. She was an open book and never met a stranger. She was hard working and self-motivated; always positive, encouraging, and uplifting to everyone around her. Her spirit will forever be imprinted in those who knew and loved her.

Angelena is survived by her parents; Michael and Natasha Coover, brothers; Detorriaus Howard, Tyler Howard, and Kyle Coover, niece; Teagan Marie Covington, aunts; Jaimie Davenport and Tammy Jaggers, uncles; Shawn Davenport, Brandon Davenport, and Shane Davenport, and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral services for Angelena will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Brother Chad Lee officiating.  Interment will follow at Hoover Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Johnny Trevino, Keiton Kerns, Lonnie Sawyer, Shawn Davenport, Cash Martin and Braydon Hickman.  Honorary Pallbearers will be James Garriott and Isaac Davenport.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
