Andrew M. Jones

Funeral services for Andrew Martin (Andy) Jones, 66, of West Mountain, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Buddy Bankhead officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Upshur County.

Mr. Jones passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, October 30, 2016. He was a dispatcher for Cudd Energy Services where he was employed for over 20 years. Andy was born on April 7, 1950 in Muenster, Texas to Aubrey and Dorothy Jones. He was married to his lifetime sweetheart, Gayla Kay Jones, for 46 years.

He is survived by his wife, Gayla Kay Jones of West Mountain; daughters, Angela D’Anne Cobbs and her husband, Dale Allan of Overton, Texas and Andrea Kay Pierce and her husband, Jim Anthony (Tony) of Beckville, Texas. Grandchildren - Kayla Bordelon and husband Jacob; Victoria Herzig and husband Austin; A1C Christopher Jones, USAF; SSTGSA Jade Carpenter, USN; Blake Metcalf; Julie Cobbs; Zach Cobbs and fiancée Shawnee. Sisters - Eva Greer and husband Johnny, of Aspermont, Texas, Evelyn Gallaway of Big Sandy, Texas; Tenna Slack and husband Jeffrey, of Midlothian, Texas; brother, Roger Jones and wife Christy, of New Diana, Texas. He was also survived by great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey William Jones (1966) and mother, Dorothy Ellen Jones Hunter (2007).

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
