Amanda Leigh Crow

AMANDA LEIGH CROW (MANOS), 38, of Gilmer, Texas went home to be with our Lord & Savior Sunday, July 25, 2021.

Amanda was born on May 12, 1983, in Dallas, Texas. She grew up in Gilmer with the exception of few years in her teens when she lived in Tyler and was a member of the REL High School Color Guard.

She leaves behind the two biggest pieces of her heart, her son, Trestan Cyle, 18 and her daughter, Makayla Autrey Crow, 14.

Amanda‘s biggest joy was being a mother. She could always be found on the sidelines of a soccer field, in the stands at the stadium, or the bleachers of the gym rooting the loudest for her babies no matter what they were doing!

She also loved music of every genre, puzzles, reading, diamond art, Harry Potter, all things “Friends” and knew every single line. She believed in living simply, loving unconditionally, caring intensely, speaking kindly and being a loyal friend. Everything else she left for God.

She was quick very witted, fluent in sarcasm, and loved making people laugh. Family game night was a favorite of hers!

In addition to her children, she is survived by her mother and father, Tami and Craig Andrews, of Longview, sister Ashley & husband Tim Madewell, of Marshall, Texas, Uncles, Travis Perry & wife Michelle, of Terrell, Texas, Anthony Perry & wife Jade, of Kaufman, Texas, and Timothy Perry & wife Susannah, of Mesquite, Texas, Grandmothers, Judy Pool of Gilmer, Texas and Mary Andrews of Marshall, Texas; Grandparents, Penny and Wayne Tywater, of Mesquite, Texas.

Preceding her in death are Grandfathers, Jerry Pool and Bill Andrews, Great-Grandparents, I.A. "Acie" & Della Pool, of Gilmer, Texas, who she greatly adored.

Her memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at New Beginnings Baptist Church-Gilmer Campus.
