Graveside services for Alma Jo Roberts, 80, of Gilmer, Texas, will be at the Gilmer City Cemetery in Gilmer, Texas at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 13, 2014. Reverend Tim Williams officiating. Tami Gray, Karen Williams and Shannon Kennimer will provide special music Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Alma Jo passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 Alma Jo was born in Maud, Texas to Joe and Pearl Foster on August 31, 1933. She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Pearl Foster, husband Elton Roberts and infant son Thomas Edward Swanner III; brothers: Millard Foster, Herbert Foster, Sherman Foster, Frank Foster; sisters: Ina Lee and Martha Lou Watson. Surviving Mrs. Roberts are her daughters: Shawn Geers and husband Billy, and Teresa Kennimer; Grandchildren: Joey Reese, Karen Williams and husband Tim, Daniel Holeman and wife Tera, Shannon Kennimer, Tami Gray and husband Jonathan, and Ben Kennimer. As well as several very special nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Billy Geers, Tim Williams, Joey Reese, Jonathan Gray, Daniel Holeman, and Ben Kennimer.
