Alice June Cummins Phillips

Funeral service for Mrs. Alice June Cummins Phillips, 80 of Gilmer, Texas, will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Smith officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Mrs. Phillips was born April 24, 1940 in Rusk, Texas to Willie Lee Cummins and Murl Berry Cummins. Mrs. Phillips passed away in Longview on December 27, 2020.

She was a bus driver for over 35 years, most knew her from driving bus #25 in the Indian Rock area.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her son, Kelly Phillips and wife Angela; daughter, Casey Lawson and husband, Bill; many grandkids and great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, James Christopher “Chris” Phillips and Dan “Danny“ Morris Phillips, Jr., and brother, Ronald Lee Cummins.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Edd Green, Terry Petree, Troy Caddel and David Nall.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
