Alice Jane Nolan

Services for Alice Jane Nolan, 79, of White Oak, Texas, will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, in Gladewater, with Reverend Jim Crump officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery. Mrs. Nolan passed on Friday, July 3, 2015 in Longview, Texas. Mrs. Nolan was born to Leonard Lee and Mary Ellen Yates Roe in Gregg County, Texas, on September 11, 1935. She married Carl B. Nolan in Gilmer, Texas on September 2, 1961 and together they made White Oak, Texas, and their home. She was a member of Bethel Temple Baptist and was a devoted wife and loving mother. She is survived by her husband, Carl B. Nolan of White Oak; sons, Marty Fenton and wife Annette, and Richard Parker and wife, Judy all of LaFollette, Tennessee; brothers, Gerald Roe of Gladewater and Dewayne Roe of Palestine; sisters, Melba Maxwell of Ore City, and Kathy Lee of Portland, Oregon; as well as six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Nolan was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers will be Scott Nolan, Terry Nolan, Joey Maxwell, Scotty Maxwell, Marty Fenton, and Richard Parker. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
