Ada Grace Stephens

Graveside services for Ada Grace Stephens, 75, of Gladewater will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Gladewater Memorial Park under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to services at Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. Stephens passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 in Kilgore.

Mrs. Stephens was born December 22, 1940 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late George Burton Morrell and Mary Lorraine Harris. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. Ada Grace is described as a quiet, peaceful and spiritual mentoring Christian. She enjoyed reading and cooking. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially all of her grandchildren whom she adored. Nanny will be truly missed by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.

She is survived by her two daughters Janice Morton and husband James of Gladewater and Sherrie Stephens of Gladewater; son Michael Stephens of Gladewater; four sisters Sue Ford of Longview, Mary Howell of Kilgore, Dolly Hendricks of Kilgore and Dixie Copeland of Beckville; nine grandchildren Julie Foster and husband Paul and children Tessa Brown and Tyler Ferguson , Jared Jackson and Wife Brettany, Joey Jackson , Jacob McAdams wife Lori and children Riley, Roxi and Ramsey McAdams, David Woodard, Destiny Stephens, Devon Lopez Raxon, Danyon Stephens, and Danelle Stephens; numerous great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.
