Willie Faye McWhorter Tefteller

GILMER Graveside services for Faye Tefteller, 75, of Gilmer, will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. at Kelsey Cemetery with Bishop Dean Fowler officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.

Born on October 4, 1938, in Gilmer, Texas, to Neal O 'Jack' and Verma Wreatha Smith McWhorter, she entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was a retired teacher for the Harmony Independent School District.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Wilburn Tefteller, Jr.; five children and spouses, Kristin and Ray Culberson, Stephen and Laralynn Tefteller, Tom Pat Tefteller and Ellen Woockman, Michael and Julie Tefteller, Liesl and Jeff Glass; nine grandchildren and spouses, Megan and Joey Bice, Caleb Mitchell, Sierra and BK Drennan, Jacob Tefteller, Cutter Tefteller, Kailon Culberson, Ashton Culberson, Hollie Tefteller, and Elizabeth Glass; and two great-grandchildren, Conley Rose Bice and Finley Blake Bice.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings, James O. McWhorter and Alverine McWhorter.Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Tefteller, Cutter Tefteller, Caleb Mitchell, BK Drennan, Joey Bice, Brent Langford, Robert Henson, Lawrence Tefteller, and James Tefteller.If sp desired, memorials may be made to the Kelsey Cemetery, P.O. Box 33, Gilmer, Texas 75644.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
